After her husband dies, the conventional and demure Virginia Valenti and her estranged sister, the rather wild an free-spirited Blithe Meacham, embark on a road trip to their high-school reunion.

Chris Potter is supposed to be Hank Meacham, Blithe's ex-husband and father of her two kids.

The script to this movie was already written in 1993 and origninally Art D'Alessandro, the writer, had slightly older sisters in mind.
