KFTLC - Season 2
The Innocent
Caine is called up to be a juror in a murder trial.
A successful businessman was killed and a previously convicted criminal
was arrested when he tried to sell the victim’s creditcard
to a dealer. The jury votes, Caine is the lone holdout. He is not
convinced the accused is guilty. Though he isn’t allowed to
get into contact with the outside world, Caine finds a way to talk
to Peter. With Caine’s information Peter is finally able to
find the real murderer.
Magic Trick
A killing spree of young women keeps the town in
suspense. A set of handcuffs found on the last victim leads Peter
to investigate an exclusive “Magic Club.” The current
star is an illusionist named “Diablo.” Apparently Diablo
uses hypnosis to bend the women’s will, letting him get their
fortunes then he kills them. Only Caine and his “white”
magic can finally end the killings.
Aspects of the Soul
Two rivaling Tong gangs bands are in war in Chinatown.
Peter Caine is supposed to investigate the incidents, but he can’t
get access to the closed groups of Chinatown. When Peter’s
old enemy Clarence Choi gets permission to attend the funeral of
his uncle, Peter asks to accompany the prisoner. The alleged funeral
turns out to be a gang meeting. Clarence, who already tried to kill
Peter in the past, can escape with the help of his friends. It turns
out that Clarence tries to gain leadership over one faction of the
Tongs so he can control Chinatown. Peter’s only chance to
prevent the worst is to challenge Choi, who has become very adept
in martial arts.
