Perfect Assistant

For the last three years Rachel Parsons (Josie Davis) was the perfect assistant to David Wescott (Chris Potter), President of a mid-level P.R. firm in Philadelphia. But her devotion to the job and David has a reason. Rachel is secretly in love to the married man.

Then Rachel sizes her chance when Carmen, David's wife, is rushed to the hospital and slips into a coma. Rachel wedges her way further into Paul’s life—offering to babysit for Isabelle, the couple's 6 year old daughter, makes him dinner and handles things at the office. In Rachels mind her fantasy about raising the perfect family with the perfect man seems to come true. But then Carmen's condition improves and Rachel sees her only chance in murdering her rival.

To top this, she blackmails Grady, the owner of a rival company, when David's business takes a downturn. Though nobody knows in her involvement it's enough to know that she "helped" for Rachel to feel satisfied. When David has to take a business trip to New York and Isabelle's nanny learns that an important appointment is vorveröegt and David's Vice-President Judith (Rachel Hunt) falls ill with an aweful stomach ache, Rachel offers to accompany David to take care of his daughter Isabelle, who he wants to take with him in the hopes, that the trip will distract her from her mother's death.

But then Rachel makes a fault. She misconstrues a situation and kisses David, who tells her, that he's not interested in her. Instead of giving up her hopes, Rachel decides that she has to work harder, but when David learns about her responsibiltiy in Grady's blackmail and that Rachel was seen tampering with Judith's food before she became ill, David decides to let her go.

Of course Rachel doesn't take his decission all to well and feels betrayed. The hurt woman loses control. First she kills her cousin, who prodded too much about David and then Rachel decides that nobody should have David, if she can't. Armed with a gun Rachel appears at a company dinner. Her plan: David has to die and everybody who stays in the way of her perfect fantasy family has to pay the ultimate price.
