To save their broken marriage Alex and her hubby, Jack, decide to spend their weekend in a quiet seaside town. When three ruthless diamond thieves kidnap Jack the vacation turns into a nightmare. When Alex turns to the local sheriff for help, he doesn't believe her. He thinks they had an argument and her husband simply took off. Unexpected backup comes from Jack's new client, Sam (Chris Potter), who he was supposed to meet on Saturday morning. When Jack's rental car, along with a dead body are found, the sheriff now suspects Jack is a killer. Meanwhile Alex and Sam discover the motive behind the kidnapping. A big diamond was hidden by one of the thieves in a make-up case, which was left in the rental car that Jack and Alex rented. Alex finds the make-up bag and turns it into the hotel's lost and found. In order to save Jack, Alex and Sam must break into the storage room to steal the diamond and return it to the thieves before they kill him.
