Zoey's ex-boyfriend comes back into her life. And a man falls from a 50th floor window and lands right in front of Zoey, the ex-boyfriend and Dan. They investigate and wonder what part Zoey's ex plays in the man's death.

2.17 My Boyfriend is an Axe Murderer

Zoey has a back problem and M sends her to an orthopedic surgeon. The doctor turns out to be a fake, but he helps Zoey's back and she is smitten with him. What she doesn't know is that he has been accused of killing his wife with an axe. Dan is investigating the case with a bounty hunter. He has no idea Zoey is dating the suspected killer.
